9/15/20 - This is a Mauser Luger P.08 pistol issued to the Nazi military in 1936. The toggle is marked with the "S/42" Mauser factory code and the right side of the slide has the proper "Eagle 63" proofs. This gun comes with an original matching-numbered magazine. There are British proofs on the underside of the barrel. The gun is all matching, including the grips. It has retained around 97-98% of its original bluing. There is very minor muzzle wear and wear on the side plate. There are very small handling marks and micro scratches throughout. But it is most noticeable on the front strap, trigger guard, and both sides of the frame. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pitting throughout.
