2/14/20 - This is a nice, complete Mauser Luger rig from 1937. It's a first variation example with strawed small parts. The bluing rates at 92-93%, with most of the thinning on the barrel and sideplate. Excellent frame, including the straps. The grips fit like a glove but are unmarked. Left panel has minor smoothing. Unfortunately the bore shows a fair amount of frost and freckling throughout. The magazine in the pistol is numbered to the gun, but after closer examination, we believe the numbering is not factory, though it is a quality attempt at looking the part. Rig includes a spare, period original magazine. Original tool with matching droop Eagle over 63 proof is present. Rig is completed by a very nice 1937 dated holster with sharp waffenamt, firm leather and G.J. Ensink & Co maker mark.
