6/29/22 - This is a Mauser Luger rig from 1937 with holster and spare magazine. The pistol has matching numbers throughout aside from the magazine, which is WW2-era but a police numbered example. This Luger has about 92% of the original blue remaining with wear on the muzzle, sideplate, bottom of the front strap, and a little on the left side of the barrel. The straps don't have much bluing loss but do have oxidation throughout. The bore has strong rifling but some pitting in the grooves. The grips are unmarked but fit the gun snugly. The holster is 1939 dated with handling wear and age but no major defects. The spare magazine is E/63 proofed with no serial but we believe the previous serial was ground off.
