5/20/22 - This is a near-mint example of an "A"-prefix Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military at the end of WW2, in March of 1945. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. The gun has retained about 99% of its finish. There is just a hint of wear around the muzzle and a hint of thinning on the front strap. Some very light surface scratches on the top and right side of the slide. Tiny hint of surface rust on the hammer. Comes with period-correct bakelite grips (noticeable cracks on the right side) and a period-correct jvd magazine. The bore is mint. De-cocker is functional. The hold-open does not work on its own.
