8/8/18 - All original German Navy Lugers are a tough find but with the original matching magazine it is a very rare find! The original finish shows edge wear and minor patination throughout. Original finish covers about 90-92%. The photos are an accurate depiction of the condition. The grips are not numbered (correct for this variation) but do appear to be original to the gun due to the perfect fit. There is that common small chip under the safety lever, but grip could be replaced if the buyer so chooses. The magazine is matching thanks to Norm on the Luger forum. He had the magazine in his database and was able to "bless" the gun and trade me for the matching Navy magazine. Interior of the luger could use a good cleaning but all interior numbered parts are matching including the sideplate, take down and safety lever, both toggle links, the trigger, and the hold open. The firing pin is not numbered but looks original. The bore looks about like the rest of the gun. Oxidation and some frosting in the bore but overall there is still plenty of rifling.
