1/26/22 - This is a very nice example of a late-war Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is all matching but has a ground Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There is very little actual finish loss, but there is noticeable spotty oxidation on the barrel, front sight, barrel bands, and on the receiver. A couple of small areas with tiny pits on the bolt handle and at the back of the receiver. The stock is excellent with just minor handling marks here and there. It may have had a thin layer of lacquer applied at some point. The bore is mint.
