5/14/24 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 135" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. The gun has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also minor wear on the high edges and around the muzzle. There are a few small spots of wear on the barrel and some thinning in the ejection port. Comes with nice black grips and a period-correct Walther magazine. There is some light scratching on both grip panels, and they are cut along the top. The bore has strong rifling with minor frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
