12/9/21 - This is a nice example of a C-Series K-Frame Smith & Wesson revolver, manufactured between 1948-52. The gun is all correct and has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. On the cylinder, there is minor wear concentrated around the high edges and a light roll mark. There is an area of splotchy discoloration on the underside of the frame and trigger guard. An area of wear on the right side of the barrel. Minor thinning and brown patina on the grip straps. There is spotty oxidation here and there, most noticeable on both sides of the frame. A few very light scratches on the left side of the frame. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Comes with excellent checkered wood grips. The bore is near-mint.
