11/23/21 - This is a near-mint example of an end-of-war Walther PP manufactured in 1945. This is a GI-mismatched gun, characterized by the mismatched slide and frame, no slide legend, no proof marks, and the "ac" Walther factory code on the right side of the slide. This gun was put together by a US GI when the Wlather factory was liberated in 1945. This one has retained about 98% of its original end-of-war finish. There are just hints of wear on the high edges of the slide and some spotty discoloration on the safety lever. There are a few casting flaws here and there (typical) and some light scratches along the slide. Comes with excellent end-of-war wood grips and a rare end-of-war "w"-marked phosphate magazine. Mint bore.
