11/23/21 - This is an excellent example of a Type 2 Paratrooper Rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The mum stamp on the receiver has been ground off, but the gun is all matching. It comes with an original dust cover that does not match the gun and an original cleaning rod. The gun has retained most of its bluing with tiny dots of oxidation here and there. There is obviously finish loss on the receiver where the mum was ground. Some light spotty discoloration on the floor plate. There is some very light spotty rust on the front sight, on the butt plate, and just in front of the front barrel band. The stock is excellent with very minor dings, dents, and scratches here there. The bore is shiny, but the rifling is a little worn.
