10/29/21 - This is an excellent example of a Colt Officers Model Target Revolver manufactured in 1937. It is chambered in .38 Caliber and has a 6" heavy barrel. It is all matching and has retained about 95% of its beautiful Colt bluing. There is very minor wear on the front edges of the frame, around the muzzle, and hints of wear on the high edges of the cylinder. A few light handling marks on the underside of the trigger guard and a light roll mark on the cylinder. Some dulling in the finish and tiny dots of oxidation on the back strap. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. There are tiny dots of oxidation on the barrel and on the right side of the frame. Comes with excellent walnut grips. The bore is mint.
