10/29/21 - This is a nice example of a Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi Police force during WW2. It is all matching, has the proper "Eagle N" proofs, and has a police "Eagle C" marking on the left side of the trigger guard. It comes as a rig with one period-correct magazine and a 1939-dated police-style holster (we have some doubts about its authenticity - priced accordingly). The gun has retained about 90% of its original finish. There are areas of spotty/scratchy wear throughout, most obvious on the grip straps, both sides of the slide, on the round edges of the slide, and around the muzzle. Some minor freckling and patina in the same areas. Minor wear around the high edges in general. Comes with excellent black bakelite grips. The bore is near-mint.
