10/26/21 - This is a minty example of Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It has the proper "FJA" inspector proofs, cross-canon military cartouche at the back of the right side of the frame, and is properly "United States Property" marked. It also has a proper Flannery barrel. It comes as a rig with a period-correct L-marked magazine and a nice 1942-dated tan leather holster. The gun has retained about 97% of its original parkerized finish. There is just very minor wear around the high edges and around the muzzle. Some very light thinning and a couple of small dots of oxidation on the front strap. Some discoloration on the right side of the slide. There is a very light scratch on the left side of the frame from the take down lever and a few very light scuffs on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips. The bore has good rifling with areas of minor freckling here and there.
