10/26/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther Model 8 sold in the commercial market in the 1930's. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. It has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. There is very minor wear along the high edges in general and around the muzzle. Minor spotty/scratchy wear on both grip straps. There is a series of small dings on the top of the slide near the rear sight. The right grip panel is period-correct and in excellent condition. The left grip panel has been replaced with a hand-made acrylic panel. The original Walther medallion was removed from the old grip and embedded in the new grip. Comes with an un-marked magazine. The bore is very nice - great rifling with a hint of frosting in the grooves.
