10/26/21 - This is a minty example of a Mosin Nagant Model 27 Rifle that was issued to the the Finnish Civil Guard in the 1930's, as evidenced by the "SY" marking on the chamber. The gun has the proper "Square SA" Finnish proofs throughout. There is a very faint import mark on the barrel. The gun appears to have been completely reworked at some point. As a result, it is in minty condition. Most of the serial numbers do not match and have been crossed out, likely when it was reworked. The bolt and receiver do match each other. The gun has retained virtually all of its new bluing with an area of minor pitting and light rust around the front sight and a dot of light rust on the magazine. The stock is un-marked and in near mint condition. Comes with an excellent canvas sling and a cleaning rod. The bore is shining with strong rifling.
