9/17/21 - This is a nice Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. The proofs are in a different order than most other guns. It has retained roughly half of its original finish. There is spotty wear and splotchy discoloration throughout. There are some small dings on the left side of the slide and frame. It comes with excellent grips and a period-correct jvd magazine. The bore has strong rifling with spotty oxidation throughout. The de-cocker is not functional and the slide does lock back on its own with this magazine.
