9/1/21 - This is a nice example of a Beretta Model 1934 issued to the Italian military in 1939. It is all matching and has a proper "Crown RE" Italian. It comes with a nice set of black grips (a few small dings on the left side), one period-correct magazine, and a nice leather holster with shoulder strap - the holster fits the gun well. The gun has retained roughly 70% of its original finish. The slide has a nice plumb color. Generally, there is spotty wear around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Tiny pin-pricking in the same areas. One streak of wear on the front strap. Spotty oxidation on both straps. The rifling in the bore is a little worn with areas of minor pitting in the grooves.
