9/1/21 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military proofs throughout, even on the small parts. Comes with excellent grips and a post-factory numbered Walther magazine that is mismatched to the gun. It has retained about 94% of its original finish. There is very minor thinning and spotty freckling on the front strap. Minor wear around the high edges of the slide. Some very light handling marks and scratches on the barrel and right side of the slide. The bore has strong rifling with freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
