8/19/21 - This is an excellent example of a Hungarian Femaru Model 37 rig manufactured in 1940. It is all matching and has a "St. Stephen's Crown" acceptance proof on the left side of the trigger guard. It is generally believed this a non-military mark but rather indicates commercial sale or police issue. It comes with an excellent period-correct leather holster and two proper magazines. Excellent wood grips. It has retained about 95% of its finish. There is minor wear on the high edges of the slide, around the muzzle, and some light scratchy wear on the straps. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are areas of discoloration along the slide. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling.
