8/16/21 - This is a very nice example of a rare Zero Series Spreewerk P.38 manufactured at the end of WW2. This one is especially rare because it has an FN-made slide. It is all matching and has the proper waffen proofs. Two proofs on the left side of the frame have been peened. The finish has a dark appearance, leading us to believe the gun has been "Russian dipped". In any case, the gun has retained about 98% of its finish with just hints of wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore has excellent rifling with minor freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.
