8/9/21 - This is a nice example of a Walther PP sold in the commercial market in 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" commercial proofs. It has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. There is wear around the muzzle, around the high edges of the slide, and at the base of the back strap. There is spotty wear along both sides of the slide and on both straps. Some very tiny light scratches along the round edges of the slide. Very minor pin-pricking on both straps. One noticeable scratch on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent grips and a period-correct 9mm magazine. The bore has strong rifling with spotty freckling throughout.
