11/26/24 - This is a great example of a 1945 Colt "Square C" 1911 Barrel. This barrel is blued, which indicates that this is a 1945 barrel meant for the U.S. Military for use in WW2. These blued "Square C" barrels would be the only appropriate barrel for the very rare JSB inspection 1911's. These barrels are called "Square C" barrels due to the marking on the toggle extension of the barrel. This particular barrel has both the "Square C" marking and the "P" marking, as well a "B" under barrel marking. This barrel has areas of both finish loss as well as thinning in the finish.
