11/20/23 - This is an original, early WW2 production DLV Flier's knife. The knife comes with an original scabbard and leather belt hanger. The knife blade is in excellent overall condition with cross-graining visible throughout, and a maker marking on one side by Joseph Munch. There's some spotty speckling wear and light surface scratches on the blade, but no major issues and no signs of sharpening. The leather stopper is intact and in great condition. Normal patina and light surface wear throughout the pommel and hand guard. The stretched blue leather on the scabbard and handle is in near-excellent condition with light handling wear. No cracking or missing sections of leather. The hanger is worn but still completely intact and all original.
