9/24/18 - This is an original WW1 1911 Colt Lanyard. These would attach to the magazines of the early WW1 colts. Later the lanyard loop was removed from the magazine and moved to the pistol frame. This lanyard is guaranteed original and in excellent condition. The metal end is dated 1917.
