9/4/2024 - This is an original, WW2 production German LP42 Flare Pistol. The finish on this flare pistol is zinc and is in great condition, there are a few areas with patina and light pinpricking, but no major pitting. The flare pistol is mechanically sound with no issues. The grips are original and in great condition with mild handling wear. The bore has light patina but is in good overall condition. The flare pistol is Waffen proofed on the left side of the frame with "WaAA10", as well as maker stamped "WA" and serialized "125656". All of the stampings are strong and easily legible.
