9/9/19 - This is a fairly rare and interesting piece of history. This is a OSS / SOE spring loaded detonation switch in a steel box the size of a cigarette pack. Measures 3in x 2in x 0.5in. Known as the Number 3 Mark 1 release switch. This is the early pattern used during WW2. The inside of the hinged door flap is stamped V.D.I. A. 25. There is some minor surface wear to the olive green paint, but no dents or major issues.
