9/4/24 - This is an original WW2 production Luger holster. The holster is dated 1943 on the back, which is uncommon since most Luger production had ended by the conclusion of 1942. The markings on the back of the holster are still strong and easily legible. The back is maker stamped "DLU 1943" as well as Waffen Eagle WaA641, and the P. 08 stamp. The left loop on the back is missing the top part of the stitching and is loose, but still attached to the holster. The back of the holster was also marked "V. S." by a previous owner. The leather thoroughout the holster is still soft and pliable. There are two cracks in the leather on the toe of the holster, and there is a minor spot of separation of the leather on the left side of the flap. The holster also is slightly coming apart on the left side near the toe where it appears some of the stitching is missing. The luger tool pouch is still present and is in great condition.
