9/3/24 - This is a good example of a Kriegsmarine dagger from ww2. The blade on this dagger is in beautiful condition, and has no oxidation. The etched naval themed motifs are still present and are strong. The blade maintains it's original edge, and has no signs of ever being sharpened. The handle of this dagger does have cracks throughout, but is still intact. There is only one small part of the handle missing on the backside towards the pommel. The grip still has it's original wire wrap. The scabbard for this dagger is missing two of the screws that keep the top of the scabbard bushing secured. The scabbard additionally has a few small dents, but nothing that effects the functionality of the scabbard.
