6/4/21 - This is an original WW2 German police bayonet. The pommel is slotted for a rifle attachment, which is seldom found on these presentation bayonets (making this one fairly scarce). The pommel is in great condition with some mild patina on the push button. No cracks or chips in the stag grips, and a unit number stamped into the handguard. The blade is excellent and maker stamped by Alex Coppel on each side, as shown. Comes with a scabbard that's also in great condition overall, despite some missing leather and separation at the top of the frog.
