3/20/20 - This is an original 1941 production Italian Army Flare Pistol. These are fairly scarce, and often when they are found, they're in much rougher condition. This flare pistol is matching serial numbered 2388, and in very good overall condition. There is some light patina / rust discoloration throughout, but the finish is still mostly in tact. The firing pin is working and in tact as well. Strong cocking spring, and excellent checkered grips. Stamped on the left side of the frame is "SAMT TORINO 1941 MOD OO". Most Italian flare pistols are believed to have been destroyed after WW2.
