2/4/25 - This is a good example of a 1916 dated Artillery Luger holster with wooden stock and leather straps. The holster is in good overall condition with pliable leather. The holster has some light marks on it from age and use. The inside of the holster on the lid is lightly stamped 1916. This stamp is difficult to see and is more visible under certain lighting conditions. There is a small hole in the holster on the flex point of the lid, as seen in the photos. The wooden stock is in good shape with only minor marks and scratches from age, the stock is stamped with the Crown over S proof. The metal attachment point for the stock we believe has been replaced with a high quality reproduction. Additionally we believe that the leather straps and the cup are also modern replacements. However, the wood stock itself and the holster are from WW1.
